A statement frowned by many social media users, who poured out their grievances through various individual social media handle.

But reacting on the said statement, Police through its Public relations officer, Ag. The Force hereby enjoins all social media practitioners and users to disregard and discountenance the story. The Nigeria Police Force is social media friendly and will continue to partner with Social Media practitioners and Users in ensuring adequate protection of Life and Property across the Country”.
